These Awareness Through Movement® lessons help you to find support through your skeleton and to use the strongest muscles of your body to do the heaviest work. Each student works independently and at their own pace. Some of the lessons are very quiet; dress warmly in layered, comfortable clothing.
This is a series of four classes that can be done weekly or in a four-hour workshop.
I have been slowly developing my skills in the garden for the last 10 years. It has become a really important way for me to connect with the earth, get grounded in myself, and feel self-sufficient by growing my own food. At one point after suffering a minor back injury, I was really pleased to find out that the lessons in this series helped me to continue gardening safely while I was still recovering, without re-injuring myself.
